It was an honor and a privilege to work with Randy and to help him welcome a whole new suite of Toy Story music into the world. Toy Story 3 (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is the soundtrack album to Disney/Pixars 2010 film of the same name. He has written countless emotional and achingly beautiful pieces of music in his career, and we're proud to say that many of them are in his score for Toy Story 3.
But underneath all that cynicism is an enormous heart that he channels directly into his work. This, to us, is the most fascinating element of Randy Newman's music: Randy can be quite wry and sardonic - an element of his personality that his fans love. But more importantly, it needed to melt your heart.

It needed to be nostalgic, fumny, genre-crossing, and full of action and intense drama. Toy Story 3 demanded that Randy not only write a great deal of music, but a great deal of very diverse music. We were also fortunate again to partner with the man responsible for creating the iconic music for Toy Story and Toy Story 2, Randy Newman. But behind those characters lie the real people who were just as excited about working with again - Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack and the rest of the incredible cast.
